Our Fort Worth, Texas location is part of our Dairy division and creates soups and sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. Hourly non-union 

The typical hiring range for this role is $20.00-25.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).   

2nd shift: 2pm to 11pm Monday to Saturday. Saturdays are half day.

Key responsibilities

What you'll do:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’re our go-to person for equipment maintenance. When you’re on the job, you can expect:

•  A to-do list that includes projects like assembling piping system installation and troubleshooting unforeseen general maintenance repairs in a timely fashion.
•  Safety to be our number one priority. You’ll learn our manufacturing standards and make sure that everyone leaves as they come to work each day.
•  A team you can rely on. We trust each other to show up every day, on time and to help each other when needed. We also participate in several festivals and help local charities together.
•  Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to):
•  Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, steam, pneumatic equipment.
•  Preventive Maintenance: Regular inspections, cleaning, and servicing to prevent equipment breakdowns.
•  Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep
•  Work with Maintenance Planner to carry out Maintenance task per the schedule assigned.
•  Routine Inspections: Regularly inspect buildings, machinery, and systems to identify any faults or repairs needed.
•  Documentation: Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed utilizing SAP.
•  Cleaning and Upkeep: Perform cleaning activities such as dusting and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility and Maintenance shop.

Qualifications and skills

What you'll need to be successful in this role:
•  2+ years of Industrial Maintenance with experience in all or some of the following including, but not limited to:
•  Communication Skills •  Plumbing and Electrical knowledge including 480v/24v
•  Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking.
•  Knowledge in a CMMS and SAP system
•  High school diploma or GED is required, associated degree in relevant field preferred.
•  Experience working in food/beverage is highly preferred but not required
