Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong development and engineering background, particularly in COBOL and CICS, and will be capable of leading a team in technical design and implementation within an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of mainframe developers and engineers. - Oversee the design, development, and implementation of mainframe applications using COBOL and CICS. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. - Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in software development. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Technical Skills Required: - Proficiency in COBOL and CICS. - Experience with JCL (Job Control Language). - Knowledge of DB2 and IMS databases. - Familiarity with VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method). - Understanding of mainframe security protocols and RACF (Resource Access Control Facility). - Experience with mainframe performance tuning and optimization. - Knowledge of mainframe middleware technologies such as MQSeries. - Familiarity with mainframe testing tools and methodologies.
