Demonstrated ability to write great code using Java and Python is a must.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Machine Learning fundamentals and the ability to implement algorithms using tools like PyTorch/Tensorflow.
* Strong knowledge of scientific computing packages such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and scipy.
* Hands-on experience developing java REST-based services using frameworks like Dropwizard, Micronaut, or equivalent.
* Experience in building and managing containerized applications, preferably with Docker/Podman.
* Experience in building and designing microservices and/or cloud-native applications.
* Strong shell/bash scripting skills.
* System design fundamentals and distributed systems architecture best practices.

Nice to have:
* Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure). Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
* Strong SQL, PL/SQL.
* Strong knowledge of relational database technology and best practices in performance tuning and troubleshooting, with knowledge of Oracle RDBMS-specifics being a plus.
* Experience writing Infrastructure-as-Code for Cloud deployment automation, preferably OpenToFu/Terraform.
* Knowledge of Linux internals and in particular strong Linux/Unix troubleshooting skills.
