Job Description

In the role of Logistics Transport Engineer, you will have the chance to shape the future transport landscape at Bosch for the EMEA region. You will work centrally at Global Logistics Services supporting the worldwide implementation of the Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) for air and sea freight transports.

Responsible for optimizing and monitoring the intercontinental transport network in accordance with given requirements as well as supporting the roll-out of the Next Generation Transport Management (NGTM) for sea- and airfreight at Bosch EMEAHypercare of implementation quality in the NGTM system at a multi-plant level for EMEA regionDaily manual Forwarder Pickup Advice (FPA) content and transmission check (e.g. transport mode, shipping type), clarifying and requesting modification with EMEA stakeholdersNGTM system monitoring for errors between systems at a multi-plant levelLSP EDI monitoring and load assignment follow-up with LSPsReview NGTM system usage of global stakeholders; provide re-training where requiredParticipate in process improvement activitiesEnsure expected performance of the defined transportation network on route levelTake part in the implementation and support internal/external departments

Qualifications  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering3 years of experience in logistics applications, transportation background preferredTransportation background in air- and seafreight processes is an assetSAP MM/WM experience (SAP Power User/Expert experience is an asset) Knowledge of different digital platforms, tech-savvyProficiency with Microsoft office tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)Excellent communication and collaboration skills (team player, sharing know-how and results with colleagues)Ability to take ownership for own work and apply own initiative to find solutionsResults-oriented, methodical and pro-active attitude with a strong problem-solving mindsetStrong customer orientation, intrinsic motivation to enhance logistics service qualityAbility to work under pressure in a very dynamic work environmentAttention to detail and ability to innovate while keeping the big picture in mindFluent in English and Turkish, German is an asset
