As a **Logistics Specialist** , you will provide planning services to enhance readiness, inform decision-makers, test capabilities, and improve coordination among USINDOPACOM and its mission partners. These planning services may vary widely in scope, objectives, and participants depending on the mission partner(s) and logistical priorities. **Responsibilities:** + As a Logistics Specialist supporting Total Asset Visibility, you willtracktheidentity,status,andlocationofDoDunits,non- unitcargo,passengers,patients,andpersonalpropertyfromorigintodestination. + Use theDefenseTransportationSystem(DTS) to track assetsinsupportof DoDoperations andsupportedCCDRs. + ProvideITVforallforceandsustainmentmovementssupportedbyDTSactivities.ThisvisibilityrequiresintegrationamongDODcomponentsandindustrypartnersthatoperateDOD’ssupply chain. + IdentifyknownITVreportinginterfaceissuesbetweeninformationmanagementsystems.Reportincorrectlyprepared,delayed,orfrustratedcargoandpersonnelto theServiceandtheCCDRtosupportoperationdecisionmakingandensureaccuratecorrections withoutlossofvisibility. + AggregateandmanageCommandandControlSystems(C2)andInformationTechnology(IT)to facilitateforcetrackingthroughthedeploymentandredeploymentprocess(e.g.,FTN, transportationtrackingaccountnumber(TTAN), andtheULN). + Provide AssetVisibility(AV)and ensuredeploymentandredeploymentprocessesareenabledthrough integrationofthecapabilitiesprovidedbyautomaticidentificationtechnology(AIT);ITV;and the informationsystemsanddecisionsupporttoolscomprisingtheIGC,SMS,andtheWebSM sub-systemofJointOperationPlanningandExecutionSystems(JOPES). **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Clearance. + Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in logistical planning and executing logistical operations + Bachelors Degree + Must be self-motivated and operate efficiently and effectively without direct supervision in joint and interagency environments while maintaining communication with and responsiveness to the client. + You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. + Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS locations. _Desired:_ + Professional military education; intermediate or higher-level service Staff College. + More than five (5) years of experience working in a Joint Staff or Geographic Combatant Command environment. + Recent experience supporting USINDOPACOM. - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
