MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure Warehouse is adequate secure and adequate security is provided.Ensure Materials required for safe storage of commodities are available and in good working condition e.g. scales, fire extinguishers, first aid box and cleaning materials.Ensure Commodities/Materials are kept in safe and good condition as per WV’s requirements. This includes ensuring that all commodities/materials are stacked in interlocking fashion, on pallets, with safe stack sizes, and that pest control such as rat traps are available.Regularly monitor the quality of the commodities and materials in storage.Managing Warehouse IN bound and OUT bound system properly.Report any concerns regarding the quality of the commodities/materials to the logistics assistant who will in turn report to Procurement.Follow warehousing requirements for the management of damaged commodities, including separation of spoilt commodities, and making provision for destruction of damaged commodities. Oversee the receipt of commodities ensuring all necessary paperwork such as waybills and delivery notes are completed. Check trucks as they arrive at the warehouse and ensure commodities/materials are counted and verified against the waybill before taking ownership.Supervise labor that is required for loading and off-loading commodities, and for cleaning the warehouse.Update waybill IN OUT process and records. Conducted inventories to verify audit readiness, quality control and accuracy of stock on hand.Proper monthly summary of delivery records and conduct monthly physical count. Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed. This includes ensuring there are bin cards on each stack, stock reports, and warehouse ledgers, plus waybills and commodities receipts.Ensure that weekly and monthly reports are completed and submitted to the Field Manager in a timely and accurate fashion.KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Minimum 2 years' work experiences in supply chain management related skills (team support, delivery management)Bachelor's degree in any Discipline is essentialStrong Communication and business dealing skills is essentialWell experience in Logistic and transportation goods retain quality and timely Good interpersonal, time management and analytical skills is essentialWell knowledge of Logistic Activities and Computer Literate (Microsoft Office Applications)Able to follow and enforce guidelines accurately.Detail focused and able to identify discrepancies and locate process difficulties.Able to work in a team and supervise casual labor.Commitment to World Vision’s Mission, Vision, Core Values & Core Documents.Applicant Types Accepted:
