Job Description
Provide our clients with interesting financial education programs, we are searching for a passionate and skilled consumer financial education facilitator. The ideal candidate will empower clients (both internal and external) and the broader community to make informed and sustainable financial decisions and improve their financial well-being.
Key Result Areas
The ability to establish a setting that encourages engagement, good experiences, and high levels of delegate satisfaction with financial literacy initiatives.
The ability to impart knowledge and skills in order to modify behaviour in accordance with the goals of the program.
Encouraging the transfer of newly acquired knowledge and abilities from the classroom (or online) to communities and workplaces.
Continuous reviewing input, pinpointing areas in need of development, and modifying training curricula to enhance results.
Requirements
A tertiary qualification (diploma or degree) is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
Proficiency in English and at least one other South African language (Setswana, Sesotho, isiZulu etc.) is essential.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor content delivery to different audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills to create an engaging and interactive learning environment.
A passion for financial literacy and empowering others to make informed financial decisions.
Ability to remain objective and avoid directly promoting specific industry products during workshops (focus on general financial literacy principles).
Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to the South African context.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficient in using presentation software (PowerPoint etc.).
Support and advise on the learning and professional development of the workforce. Implement and execute policies, processes, and training offerings.ResponsibilitiesHR Data Analytics and InsightsSupport in delivering analyses of HR data and identifying trends to contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.
Learning and Development (L&D) Program DesignDesign a technical training or instruction session and develop and maintain relevant high-quality training resources to ensure the achievement of specified learning outcomes.
Learning and Development (L&D) Program DeliveryDeliver short technical training or instruction sessions (or segments of a training course), providing information and guidance to learners to ensure that intended learning outcomes are achieved.
Learning Needs AnalysisSupport the identification of learning needs by analyzing performance and competence data to identify gaps in relation to required levels.
Policy Development and ImplementationProvide routine support services to others.
Document PreparationPrepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
Information and Business AdviceResolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.
Development Center Design and DeliveryContribute to the creation of development centers; tailor pre-existing exercises and feedback and development planning processes and tools; draft new content as directed; draft documentation; train assessors to engage assessees, facilitate activities, and support individuals in their development planning.
Personal Capability BuildingDevelop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
HR Data ManagementCarry out a wide range of HR data processing tasks as directed; advise other colleagues and provide guidance on processes when needed.
