We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, high-performance software solutions for cell health life sciences devices.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Perform instrument software development work in a collaborative team environmentCarry out all phases of software development, including requirement specification, design, implementation, software integration, testing, and documentation required to meet company proceduresTake ownership of the high-quality implementation of software features for instrument softwareCollect inputs from stakeholders, develop concepts, and conduct feasibility studiesExecute quality assurance activities such as risk analysis, technical reviews and code inspectionsUndertake software maintenance effortsSupport the continuous improvement of the software development processWork in an iterative product release environment, continuously focusing on quality and delivery goals.

The required qualifications for the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field7+ years of experience in commercial software development with hands-on experience in C++ and C#2+ years of experience using Windows applications with a database such as PostgreSQLSolid understanding of software design principlesDemonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Understanding of software development processes in a regulated environmentExperience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologiesExperience using WPF, .NET Core, and containerization technologiesExperience with Maven, Jenkins etc.
