Lead of Product Incubation

Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, dynamic and visionary Product Incubation Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and re-using existing assets to create innovative products and solutions that disrupt the travel market. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive software and hardware products and solutions from concept to pre-productization launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product incubation strategy that leverages existing assets to create new and disruptive travel products;Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation within the travel industry;Asset Utilization: Identify and evaluate existing assets, technologies, and resources that can be repurposed to develop new products;Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and prototyping to testing and launch;Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and launch;Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer-centric approach, ensuring that new products meet and exceed customer expectations;Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of new products;Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to gain buy-in and support for new initiatives.

About the ideal candidate:

Experience: Proven experience in product development, innovation, or a related field, preferably within the travel industry;Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams;Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing and executing successful product strategies;Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of technology and its application in product development;Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences;Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and a passion for creating products that deliver exceptional value.
