Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to plan, organize, and coordinate all pack material procurement activities in line with the overall company objectives in addition to analyzing, reviewing, and developing sourcing decisions, and conducting major negotiations for short and long-term contracts as appropriate.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Leads the commercial category in securing all pack materials in accordance with the scope of demands.
2. Negotiates pack material pricing arrangements and ensures that they meet specifications.
3. Prepares pack material standard costs with assistance from the Purchasing department for annual budgeting.
4. Supports purchasing forecasts and develops plans to improve cost of direct pack materials.
5. Maintains and updates information regarding pack materials.
6. Supports plants to ensure deliveries in cases of shortages or production changes.
7. Aligns material needs to optimize working capital utilization while minimizing overstock and obsolescence.
8. Seeks continuous improvements in respect to handling, moving, storing pack materials.
9. Analyzes data, finds pertinent issues, and produces suggestions to support strategic, tactical, and operational procurement choices.
10. Provides accurate import documentation to guarantee fast custom clearance and avoid delays and demurrage fines.
11. Provides the necessary quotations in case of purchase requests to make the optimal decision with respect to price and quality.
12. Participates in the introduction of new products innovations (NPI) projects to guarantee the effective launch of the new product and the timely delivery of any required associated activities and materials.
Supplier Management
13. Performs and maintains supplier performance evaluations and addresses development areas.
14. Identifies and evaluates new suppliers according to established procedures and handles negotiations.
15. Ensures the OTIF of the materials purchase of the agreed quality and quantity across all the categories.
16. Oversees supplier contract development and administration in coordination with the legal team.
17. Manages the working capital through negotiations for an optimal payment plan for the company’s purchased materials.
18. Develops suppliers’ Sustainability Capabilities such as Reducing Carbon footprint.
19. Ensures proper contracting across different categories to assure that business value is secured.
20. Ensures suppliers onboard are properly qualified from a quality and safety perspective.
21. Conducts negotiations to obtain the supply of products and services requested by Al Ahram Beverages Company (ABC) on the most favorable terms and circumstances.with the procurement strategy.
22. Develops and manages supplier relationships in order to provide commercially optimal solutions for all parties in accordance with appropriate Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.

Education and Experiences
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business
Years of Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG industry.
