Environmental Conditions

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Laboratory Setting, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Office, Rapid flashing lights, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Various outside weather conditions, Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician 4 (Electrical)

Location: St. Louis, MO / Drug Substance Division

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:00PM – 10:30PM)

As a Building Maintenance Technician 4 (Electrical), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our facility's mechanical and electrical systems. You will provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency and ensure product safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building and mechanical equipment using electrical and mechanical trade skills.Resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns, adhering to safety and quality standards.Support continuous improvement programs and participate in plant problem-solving teams.Maintain knowledge of all applicable procedures and safety measures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical/electronic repairs (10 years preferred).Expertise with Allen Bradley PLCs, welding, mechanical systems, and high-pressure gas systems.Strong understanding of electrical installation, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, and lift up to 50 lbs.
