**Description:** **Laundry Valet Attendant** You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your customers and toassist in the laundry operation in accordance with department standards and in line with operational requirements. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Operational: As a Laundry Valet you are responsible to ensure that laundry service, required by our guest is met on time and with the highest possible standards, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as: o Responsible for pick-up and delivery of guest laundry. o Collect laundry and dry cleaning bags from guest rooms and ensure that guest name, room number and laundry pieces are listed. o Count and verify all items as per the laundry and dry cleaning lists and record collection and delivery times and special message. o Report immediately any guest valuables / items found in pockets of clothes sent to laundry. o Check all items for damage and stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues. o Responsible for all garment check, care label and fabric condition before and after washing and dry cleaning o Responsible to collect and deliver outside guest laundry / dry cleaning. o Responsible for delivering all guest items punctually and in a professional, courteous way o Assist in the loading and unloading of dryers and sort out washed laundry items. o Press all guest items according to fabric hot press and steam press o Assist in inventories and attend all trainings as informed and scheduled. **Qualifications:** Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience hotel operations.
