Laboratory Scientist – Chemistry
Join Mars as a Laboratory Scientist and contribute to cutting-edge research through analytical chemistry expertise.
What are we looking for?
BSc in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field
3+ years’ lab experience (research setting preferred)
Proficiency in analytical techniques (FT-ICR-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, LC-MS)
Experience with Mass Spectrometry (preferred)
Strong data analysis skills (Excel, GraphPad Prism, R)
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
Experience with LIMS and QSHE standards (risk assessments, SOPs, equipment maintenance)
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
What will be your key responsibilities?
Perform analytical methodologies, ensuring high-quality data
Contribute scientific insights and support method development
Maintain lab equipment and train colleagues in best practices
Present research findings and maintain lab records (ELN)
Support efficiency improvements and contribute to reports/publications
Ensure compliance with QSHE standards
