The purpose of the Key Account Executive position is to contribute to the success of Pearson by supporting the English Language Learning (ELL) Vertical in accelerating regional business performance and driving growth. This role involves achieving maximum sales and market share growth of Pearson's ELT & GLT Courseware and Assessment portfolio through sales calls conducted in the Secondary, PLS and Tertiary sector within your region. Additionally, you will evaluate the market to identify and pursue new revenue streams and sector opportunities. As a sales expert, you will partner with our regional marketing organization to ensure that the consumer/customer is at the heart of everything we do. You will also navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and address market demands. 

Key Deliverables:

Delivering Annual Targets: Achieve maximum sales and market share growth of Pearson's ELT & GLT Courseware and Assessment portfolio through sales calls conducted in the Secondary, PLS, and Tertiary sectors within your region.  Professional Knowledge: Acquire a thorough knowledge and understanding of Pearson’s whole ELL portfolio and key products, services, and capabilities. To ensure continuous development, update your professional knowledge regularly by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications Demonstrating Products: Be able to demonstrate Pearson technology products and services effectively to potential and existing customers.  Facilitating Product Trials: Facilitate customer-based product trials to maximize new sales potential.  Growing Share-of-Wallet: Grow the share-of-wallet in key accounts by identifying and pursuing new revenue streams and sector opportunities.  Networking and Engagement: Seek out and engage with network groups, educational associations, corporations, and institutions to build and maintain relationships.  Financial Management: Manage expenditures to stay within budget limits.  Market Analysis and Feedback: Monitor competition activities throughout your region and bring feedback from the field concerning Pearson products and services.  Database Management: Update the database regularly to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.  Supporting Sales: Support sales with the provision of information/expertise relating to Pearson’s portfolio and capabilities.  Stakeholder Liaison: Support and liaise with the existing stakeholder network, including social media, to contribute to the overall perception of Pearson as a key player and partner of choice in the marketplace.
