JOB PURPOSE

KAM plays a key role in maintaining and developing categories and channels within the Customer Development department. This is a sales operational role that requires your expertise and dedication.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:
Foster strong relationships with the customer acquisition team to enhance collaboration and drive results.
Monitor and analyze competitors’ activities, providing valuable insights to the trade marketing team to stay ahead in the market.
Assess and manage the financial health of customers, making informed decisions to maintain balance and profitability.
Conduct regular commercial visits to stay attuned to market realities and develop corrective actions with customers, field sales teams, or other departments as needed.
Develop and coordinate quarterly channel activity plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Confirm promotional activities, including items and discounts, for inclusion in leaflets and special actions.
Prepare contractual and promotional credit notes in line with agreed plans with clients and the trade marketing team.
Update the business plan monthly through Promo Plans meetings and APR meetings, ensuring alignment and progress tracking.
Track stocks and sales for UL brands, preparing insights for extended teams to inform strategic decisions.
Collaborate with GKAM to prepare for annual negotiations and business reviews, ensuring comprehensive and strategic planning.
Implement KPIs established with GKAM, adhering to Unilever standards to drive performance and accountability.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in commercial roles, demonstrating strong negotiation techniques and financial acumen
Market analysis experience in tracking competitors’ activities and providing actionable insights
Skills
Ability to work independently, take responsibility for actions, and collaborate effectively to achieve team goals
Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills, especially in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Capability for effective problem-solving and decision-making
Proficient in English for effective communication
Proficiency in using the MS Office suite
Possession of a category B driving license
