What You'll Do

As someone who enjoys organizing, coordinating, and navigating multiple internal stakeholders across departments and seniority levels, you’ll thrive in this role. Communication—both written and spoken—is at the heart of what you’ll do. You should be confident engaging with a wide range of colleagues across Central Europe.
 
As a passionate communications professional, you’ll be part of our Corporate Communications team. You’ll shape BCG’s corporate communications internally and thus also externally—because what happens internally is also perceived externally.
With creative ideas and storytelling skills, you’ll bring communication channels to life and foster meaningful dialogue. You’ll help develop and prepare concepts and content for a wide range of internal communications formats, such as mailings, videos, podcasts, lock screens, office displays, and internal events. You’ll also support communications initiatives and create presentations for the Leadership Team of BCG Central Europe—for internal events and selected external appearances.


In addition, you’ll advise teams and departments across Central Europe—particularly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—on implementing communications measures with a 360-degree view. Project management will be one of your responsibilities as will working in close alignment with key senior stakeholders. You’ll also contribute ideas to help advance and improve our internal communications strategy

You have initial experience in developing and implementing internal communications formats and are eager to deepen your skills in this area.You bring a structured way of working and a strong interest in managing projects. You’re motivated to think in line with the 360-degree principle and to learn how to prepare content in a way that fits different channels and audiences.You enjoy writing and have a strong sense of language and style. You’re able to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content and are excited to further develop an excellent writing style tailored to different audiences. You skillfully apply your storytelling abilities to create impactful and relevant communications.Thanks to your strong communication skills, networking is a matter of course for you, and you know how to achieve goals together with your team members and various internal departments.You’re quick to pick up on things and always willing to familiarize yourself with new topics. All the while, you develop great ideas to advance your team—for you, “good” just isn’t good enough.You see yourself as an organizational and improvisational talent and keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
 

What You'll Bring

You have a university degree, ideally in communications, economics, or the social sciences.You have professional experience in the field of communications, preferably gained in a consulting firm, communications agency, or editorial office.You’ve gained experience in developing and implementing leadership communication formats.You have a strong interest in conceptual work and are eager to build your advisory skills step by step.Your written and spoken German and English language skills are excellent.

Who You'll Work With

You’ll be part of a ten-member Corporate Communications team, working closely with your colleagues in Marketing and Communications in the Düsseldorf, Munich, Vienna, Zurich, Budapest, Prague, and Warsaw offices. Your manager will assist you in familiarizing yourself with the company and developing professionally, and you will also always be able to draw upon the experience of the team.
