About the role Burn is looking for a Junior Mechanical Technician who will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and machinery. Duties and Responsibilities + Attend to preventive maintenance and breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve, with minimal downtime to production. + Assist in carrying out diagnosis of faults, the maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner. + Carry out maintenance repairs of mechanical machines. + Resolve mechanical problems. + Collaborate to reducing repair times in relation to machine downtime. + Monitor and maintain records on the utilities’ usage. + Keep maintenance logs. + Should be able to work on shift basis + Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, EHS. + Any other job as may be assigned by management .
