Junior Business Development Manager (Hospitality)We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Business Development Manager to join our team at Amadeus Hospitality. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct market research to identify potential hotel clients. The successful candidate will then contact these hotels to set up demo calls with our Director of Sales or Sales Specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential hotel clients.
Reach out to identified prospects via email, phone, and social media to introduce Amadeus Hospitality solutions and schedule demo calls.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Sales Specialists to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
Maintain accurate records of all interactions with prospects in the CRM system.
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Research Skills: Ability to effectively use various internet resources to gather information on potential clients.
Measurement: Number of qualified leads identified and contacted per month.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with prospects and present Amadeus Hospitality solutions.
Measurement: Quality of communication as assessed by feedback from the Director of Sales and Sales Specialists.
Sales Skills: Basic understanding of sales processes and techniques to effectively pitch and schedule demo calls.
Measurement: Number of demo calls successfully scheduled and conducted.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
Measurement: Accuracy and completeness of CRM records.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of leads.
Measurement: Feedback from team members on collaboration and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a sales or business development role is a plus.
Proficiency in using internet research tools.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
Strong interest in the hospitality industry.
Previous hospitality experience in hotels within conference and events, sales, or operations is required.
Performance Indicators:
Number of qualified leads identified and contacted.
Number of demo calls scheduled and conducted.
Quality of communication and engagement with prospects.
Accuracy and completeness of CRM records.
Feedback from the Director of Sales and Sales Specialists on collaboration and support.
