SAP Cloud Appliance Library is a product at Landscape Orchestration area, part of SAP Cloud Lifecycle Management organization. We develop the next-generation automated deployment of SAP systems like S4/HANA into the Public Cloud.

 

What you'll do:

 

As a Java Developer in the CLM LO Cloud Appliance Library you will be responsible for the development of internal DevOps tool that is designed and programmed to cover the CI/CD Operations and monitoring needs. You will be handling the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our internal stakeholders to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.

 

In your role as Developer in the DevOps team, you will work closely with internal colleagues together on the following activities:

Design, test and implement sustainable functionalities in our internal DevOps tool Optimize and simplify existing code. Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for operations. Work in an agile team applying Scrum, agile development practices and DevOps, thus contributing to team goals.

 

What you bring:

 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field Experience in Java programming Strong understanding and experience with Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, MS Azure) Excellent theoretical and practical background in OOP, design patterns, and data structures Experience with various OS is an advantage. Agile methodologies for software and service development Strong collaboration skills both within the team and across teams in a multicultural and multinational environment Excellent team player, passionate about work, self-motivated, and driven Fast learner, time management and prioritization skills, multitasking Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fluency in English

 

Meet your team:

 

At SAP Cloud Appliance Library is a delivery service for trial and sandbox environments with pre-installed and pre-configured SAP software in the customer hyperscaler account. Our solution provides end-to-end automated landscape provisioning through Java Cloud application for managing and configuring cloud resources like VMs and Load Balancers, including their connectivity. It is runnung on the SAP Cloud Platform based on Cloud Native concepts. The frontend is being developed with SAP UI5 and aligned with SAP Fiori Guidelines.
