Job Location: Perú, Colombia or Costa Rica
Role Description:
Lead the implementation and evolution of IWS's operations in the region's countries, including warehouses and local distribution, ensuring alignment with business priorities and comprehensively addressing the needs and priorities of regional functions, while ensuring continuous improvement and quality of processes to deliver exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product development:
Implement and manage FC-OpEx (First-Choice Operational Excellence) in Warehouse operations. Implement good management practices and controls in Local Distribution operations. On-site support of operations at times of significant operational needs. Audit warehouse and local distribution processes according to up-to-date standards for processes, customer billing, rate adjustments, contracts, WMS and TMS utilization, FC-OpEx, H&S, Security, Compliance, Purchasing, and IT/BPO.Product Owner:
Be part of the work team that develops the product to support planning, understand deliverables, and communicate to the business. Define the work structure, ordered and prioritized, to be the basis for the IWS Country Head Evangelize the business regarding the use of the methodology being delivered and define functional improvements for future product releases. Works closely with the country's Head of IWS to create medium-term plans for developing and implementing the product.Financial:
Support the IWS Head in the security of the customer billing process. Support the Head of IWS in securing the payment process to the warehouse and transport suppliers. Ensure that the operational team's sizing processes are up to date. Ensure quotes are competitive and fair with the customer and the IWS product Analyse and ensure that contract controls and annual adjustments are up to date.Operating:
Ensure that new customer implementations and/or processes are controlled at all points to achieve the agreed-upon dates. Work with the IT team to ensure that support needs, implementations, and operational improvements are met within the agreed-upon time frames. Generate a strategy for the continuous training of FC-OpEx and audit for its maintenance. Implement robust Local Distribution processes to ensure the sustainability of operations.Commercial:
Assist in the implementation and development of proposals to the client, supporting the design of the solution, preparing quotes, and creating realistic work plans for new and current clients. Ensure high-quality service to customers through operational support in countries Follow up on the agreed work plans, develop risk mitigation plans, identify incidents, and collaborate with the different teams to ensure the implementation of the clients within the established times.Quality and KPIs:
Track defined KPIs to track identified improvements, customer implementation, new features, training, and sustainability of expert users and operations. Ensure compliance with standards within the framework of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45000 quality standards, and 5s/compliance/environment/occupational health and safety, and others that are defined by DHL and/or the customer Participate in the programs that the company implements and lead by example (Performance Dialogs, Recognition Program, One-on-One Sessions, EOS Follow-up, and other First Choice programs)Personnel Management:
Manage, guide, and develop the personnel in charge Develop plans to promote integration, leadership, and motivation among the team of workers Give feedback (One-to-One) and evaluate personnel using the performance tool Request and manage personnel actions (vacations, reprimands, suspensions, hiring, bonuses, dismissals, accesses)Key Qualifications:
University degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar. At least 7 to 10 years in positions in the logistics sector, with experience in handling warehouse and transportation operations. Knowledge of Warehousing Management System and Transport Management System tools. Project Management Experience. Complete English language proficiency. Persuasive Verbal and Nonverbal Communication. Commercial Spirit. Interpersonal Sensitivity.#LI-RL2
