\n\n Providing first line hardware and software technical support to all UK H&G UK and DHL Air system users\nPerforming all IT housekeeping tasks as per work instructions\nLiaising with Global Aviation IT and Leipzig H&G IT Service Desk and other DHL entities for support and service requests when required\nEnsuring all IT calls and jobs are completed and recorded in accordance with work instructions and internal SLA’s\nDelivering proactive incident management by monitoring background processes, communication links and devices for errors\nEnsuring that all shift and backup logs are correctly maintained and that all documentation is kept up to date\nOrdering and maintaining IT hardware and consumables\nAll employees are responsible for the health and safety of themselves and also those affected by their activities.\nKnowledge / experience required:
\n\n Incident Management and Escalation\nAS400, Active Directory, Citrix and Windows 10\nMicrosoft Office products\nRemote Desktop Technology\nServer administration\nVMWare administration\nLAN, WAN & WLAN\nFirewall concepts\nFile Backup/Restore procedures\nLinux (beneficial but not essential)\n· Second line support experience in an IT support environment\n\nYou’ll also bring to this role:
