In our Senior Project Next Generation Business Architecture, you will be part of the team which is responsible for the IT program and project management of BASF’s future S/4HANA Business Architecture. A central element will be the transition of our current SAP R/3 ERP into S/4 HANA which aims to reduce complexity, get closer to Standard and thereby, build the foundation for digitalization at scale.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT As one of the Functional Workstream Leads of project Mercury, form & steer functional TEAMS along solution design, build and rollout.Closely manage project objectives, scope, cost and resources as a member of the Mercury IT Project Management team.Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies in strong collaboration with the selected System Integrator (SI).Actively prepare major design & project decisions, ensuring that project goals are met and that required decisions are taken.Contribute strongly to the SI Performance Management & Reporting.Collaborate with NGBA Program Management and different stakeholders across several GD Product Families, Service Units, Corporate Centers and Operating DivisionsFinally, you explore new technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI) to further improve efficiency for our team and enable faster and broader usage of GenAI related opportunities in NGBA projects.
