Travel Distribution Engineering Services at Amadeus focuses on delivering tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers, including travel agents, large online travel platforms, and other travel-related businesses. The team collaborates across departments to integrate and deploy customized solutions that ensure smooth operations and improved customer satisfaction. We support the full lifecycle of customer solutions—from consultation and design to implementation and ongoing support. In addition to our hub in Bogotá, we have teams in Thailand, India, Taipei, Poland, Spain, and France.
Summary of the role:As part of the IT Operations team, you’ll support the hosting and automation of Bespoke applications, ensuring reliable operations and monitoring of supported systems across the globe.
In this role you’ll:Manage product release rollouts and customer data deployments across various platformsDesign hosting solutions and assess feasibility to leverage AWS cloud servicesApply security and change management practices to maintain safe and reliable environmentsProvide support for infrastructure issues affecting customer applications, including on-call responsibilities for critical systemsAbout the ideal candidate:A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience2+ years of experience implementing and maintaining IT solutions on Microsoft Windows and Linux systemsExperience with hosting and deploying .NET and Java applicationsFamiliarity with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Knowledge of log management, system and middleware hardening, and containerization (Kubernetes)Understanding of security practices such as encryption in transit, WAF, and hardeningBasic experience/knowledge with MS SQL and MariaDB (queries, connectivity, user management)Comfortable working with IIS, Apache, and Tomcat on Windows and LinuxAble to communicate effectively in English, both written and spokenOrganized and detail-orientedWhat we can offer you:Get rewarded with competitive remuneration, individual and company annual bonus, vacation and holiday paid time off, health insurances and other competitive benefits.
