As part of the Customer Engineering team, you will participate in project activities to support the IP professional services delivery to Nokia’s customer base, and you will have in-depth knowledge of the Nokia IP products and technologies. Your potential key interfaces will be Customers, Project Managers, Technical Project Managers, and Product Line Managers to deliver projects.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, with 8-10 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP technologies.Have detailed knowledge of the Nokia IP Routing portfolio and solutions.Have a demonstrated knowledge IP/MPLS Networks, Segment Routing, Mobile Backhaul, L2/L3 VPN Solutions, Virtualization, Data Center solutions, Telco Cloud fabrics.Knowledgeable in Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.Knowledgeable on E2E Mobile Solutions, Mobile & Packet Core concepts and related technologies.Network Management Systems, such as Nokia NSP/NFM-P or other vendor NMS solutionsHands-on experience including design, build, deploy, troubleshooting & fault-finding, etc.It would be nice if you also had:
Kubernetes, Linux/Unix shell, Scripting (Python), Containers.Traffic Generators: Spirent Test Center, IXIA.Nokia SRA, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.Work effectively with others and to communicate to audiences both verbally and through written material.Able to influence customers and align them to Nokia's recommended test strategies and methodologies.Design and analyse complex network configurations to meet customer communication requirements and performance criteria. Conduct end-to-end network architecture design, including capacity planning, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of network solutions and adherence to performance standards.Generate technical documentation, such as TSD, HLD, LLD, Test Sheet, and process standards to facilitate network element implementation and operational consistency.Engage directly with customers to advise on network architecture and complex use cases, influencing their strategic decisions.Lead automation initiatives within the tools domain to enhance operational efficiency and scalability of network operations.Supports the Project Review process with Project Management Groups (e.g. Delivery Management Reviews) and setup corrective action and risk mitigation plans to address technical issues that may arise.Be accountable for providing the customer with a variety of test strategies, test plans, job aids and other supporting collateral.Oversee and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at achieving project goals and professional growth.
