Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: 

Configure, monitor and troubleshoot IP/MPLS networks;  IP routing protocols, including Intermediate System – Intermediate System (IS-IS), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP);  Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) protocols, including LDP and RSVP-TE, and L2/L3 VPNs over MPLS;  QoS implementation and testing;  Testing tools, including Spirent, IXIA, Iperf, and JDSU;  and Troubleshoot, monitor, and configure IP networking protocols.

Develop network architecture and configure IP/MPLS networking protocols to support Nokia IP Networks.  Assist with network strategy, design and engineering, and implementation and migration planning.  Work with customers, solutions and marketing groups and systems engineering to scope and deliver professional service projects.  Produce network implementation and migration plans.  Configure equipment and test and support networks in various stages of deployment.   Assist with service design and proof of concept, testing, and optimization services.  Audit and assess network against customer service requirements and best practices.  Perform customer training and advice and on-site support. #LI-DNI

Domestic travel required up to 25%.
