About this opportunity:

As a part of establishing a Smart Factory within the U.S., we are now looking for an Inventory Specialist to be the first line support for leading and managing continuous improvement, key processes, and functional operational gaps within different areas. Crucial aspects of the role focus on metrics, data analysis, improving workflow through training, and refining inventory’s best practices. Successful candidates will have experience with data manipulation to solve operational problems that drive supply chain efficiencies. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of using data analysis to improve workflow, working with metrics to monitor performance. This individual must have knowledge working with process mapping/ improvement and adhering to quality standards of the following areas: receiving, put-away, picking, Kanban fulfillment, transportation, and service shipping.

 

What you will do:

Support inventory and warehouse operations by driving day-to-day business improvements and implementing corrective actions for process failures and gaps.Develop and implement process changes through interdepartmental collaboration, focusing on continuous improvement activities and compliance.Utilize expertise in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize layout, reduce waste, and enhance operational processes.Analyze metrics and performance data to continuously improve operations and drive process efficiency, productivity, and throughput.Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP ERP and warehouse control systems (WCS) automation, leveraging strong knowledge to support operational excellence.Apply proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Azure, and PowerPoint) to enhance process documentation and communication.Participate in additional duties as needed to support overall warehouse operations.

 

The skills you bring:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, with preference for Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.Strong data manipulation and analysis skills, with advanced understanding of supply chain management or logistics.Demonstrates leadership, decision-making, and time management abilities.Effective communication, project management, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations.Self-starter capable of thriving in fast-paced and ever-changing environments.Positive conflict resolution and change management skills.
