As part of the Implementation division, the Altea Inventory Implementation team is responsible for migrating airlines to Amadeus Altea Core Inventory products, central to many airline IT solutions. Our mission includes being proficient in Altea legacy PSS solutions delivery while also implementing the next generation of Amadeus Nevio products.

The team coordinates, plans, and implements Altea Inventory solutions (Schedule management, Inventory control, Seating management, waitlist management, Reaccommodation) and related products (Amadeus Availability management, Amadeus Dynamic Availability, Carrier Preferred Display, Schedule links, BIF and SSIM file publication, Codeshare products, Re-accommodation options). Implementations can be standalone or part of broader projects involving multiple teams. We work with airline engineers to configure products according to business needs, supported by Product and Program Managers, Developers, and Product Definition experts.

In the context of Amadeus Nevio, our next-generation traveler-focused retailing solution, the team actively participates in Product Catalog and Stock Keeper deliveries (ACE train) and scales up on this front. We have worked with AY Program for the first Bundle delivery in Nevio, BA Implementation scoping activities/deliveries are ongoing, and we have SV, AFKL Programs ahead. Collaboration with Development colleagues ensures customer deliveries and enhancements (NFRs), offering exciting opportunities for career growth and continuous learning.

Your Main Responsibilities

Organize, plan and monitor the implementation activities including airline deliveries

Support the airline in their business process testing

Conduct the implementation in autonomy through task coordination, stakeholders reporting and proper communication.

Fit Altea/Nevio setup to the airline business needs.

Support airline staff in their migration to the new product (training, business processes…)
 

Implementation activities

Define and take end-to-end responsibility on the overall Inventory migration strategy for a customer.

Act as primary point of entry on Customer implementation plans: Identify, analyze and document the necessary interfaces between Altea Inventory and the existing Airline systems, support the customer with the data mapping

Identify and drive specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products and services.

Co-ordinate relevant team-member and external tasks according to plan

Perform the necessary tests on the customized solution before it is delivered to the customer.

Identify and resolve implementation showstoppers, ensure the resolution of problems arising

Execute any necessary steps of Cutover Rehearsals and Production Cutover Customer functional support

Provide functional expertise and assistance during and after implementation

Support the customer with reengineered business processes

Organize and execute the necessary testing with the Customer

Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff
 

Project management

Organize and plan the implementation schedule and provides inputs to the program/project manager

Lead and chair Project Status Meeting with the airline customer

Ensure that project milestones are met

Perform final sign-off prior to implementation in production

Identify risks and ensure good reporting

Communicate and report on project progress, risks and costs to the program manager and line management

Provide formal implementation status, KPIs and customer feedback to management and the responsible program/project manager

Anticipate problems and provide solutions, involving line management in most challenges circumstances

Coordinate with other stakeholders across different SAFe trains (AOP, R2D1, NTSY, Nevio ACE, etc)
 

Quality

Guarantee that customized products/solutions meet specified requirements

Ensure high quality of deliverables, compliance with industry standards and corporate strategies

Participate in internal processes improvement and newcomer onboarding

Support, document and industrialize implementation processes

Evaluate, propose and improve internal processes, tools, services
