What You'll Do

Teaming@BCG is a global priority initiative sponsored by BCG’s Executive Committee to continuously improve team effectiveness across businesses, backgrounds and capabilities, to maximize client impact and sustainability for our internal teams, to role model innovative ways of working for our clients, to provide growth & sustainability to our people, and ensure we recruit and retain the most talented, diverse people.

As internal Team Coach, you will be key enabler of the three Teaming@BCG values: Value Focus, Team Trust and Growth Mindset. Your key responsibility will be implementing these values in client-facing teams through coaching and best-practice sharing in project setup and execution. This support will include setting up and co-leading initial project team meetings, coaching individual team members, facilitating trainings (e.g. on Psychological Safety), supporting teams in the definition of roles and responsibilities, and activating digital tools to maximize team efficiency and transparency (e.g., Slack, Trello, or Miro) as well as agile working.

 

You will work in:

Coaching case teams, accelerating the adoption of new ways of working for the whole team(s), with emphasis on enabling multidisciplinary teams by working alongside senior leadership as thought partner ( 80%).Continuously innovating and rolling-out the global Teaming@BCG concept/offering for BCG Platinion (e.g., share learnings and best practices, contribute to content development, facilitate internal training sessions) ( 10%)Acting as driver of change and ambassador of the Teaming@BCG culture and enabler to support shaping the BCG Platinion organization ( 10%)

You will perfect and further develop:

Your skills as coach & team shaper, innovating the way BCG Platinion teams work in their case projectsYour leadership and mentorship ability, in being a thought partner and delivering key learning assets to the coaching communityYour skills related to value creation, team building, establishment of psychological safety, agile ways of working, digital collaborationYour skills in shaping multidisciplinary ways of working as part of one of BCG’s most successful units 

You're good at:

Coaching cross-business teams, executives and individuals from different backgrounds and with different skill-setsAdopting and flex a range of coaching styles to fit the needs of the team/counterpartEnabling individuals and groups to apply a wide range of Teaming Tools and Techniques, including but not limited to Psychological Safety, Agile, Digital Collaboration, and moreThriving in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, client-oriented environment where you can innovate and experimentGetting energized by helping individuals and teams reach their fullest potential - both delivering more impactful work and building an open, supportive team culture

What You'll Bring

 

From 6 to 10 years professional experience within complex corporate environments with increasing levels of responsibility2-3 years experience in leading high-performance teams in a project and/or process based and complex environment, managing multiple stakeholdersExpertise in team coaching, training and related tools and methodologies (e.g., agile, work smarter, and live better)Experience in working with teams involved in digital products would be a plusProficiency in MS Office software and required tools and technologies (e.g, Trello and Slack)Agile proficiency / experienceExcellent written and spoken English and Italian
