About this opportunity:
Ericsson is at the forefront of wireless communication technology, driving innovation in baseband design and Radio Access Network (RAN) testing. We are seeking a motivated and adaptable intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects that shape the future of connectivity.
As a Baseband Design and RAN Test Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various aspects of wireless communication systems. You will work closely with our engineering team to support the design, testing, and management of lab equipment, playing an important role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our products, and help us to improve the efficiency.
What you will do:
• Assist in the design and development of baseband processing algorithms for wireless communication systems.
• Support the testing and validation of RAN components, including conducting experiments and analyzing results.
• Collaborate with engineers to set up and configure lab equipment for testing and prototyping purposes.
• Maintain and manage lab equipment inventory, ensuring all tools and devices are properly calibrated and operational.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to baseband design and RAN testing.
• Document test procedures, results, and design iterations to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews to share insights and learnings.
The skills you bring:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of wireless communication systems, baseband processing, and RAN technologies.
• Good knowledge and experience of program languages C/C++/Java
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and testing tools is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative on projects.
