Instrument Sales Specialist (m/f/d) Genetic Analysis – Mainz, Tübingen and Frankfurt Area

Position Summary

The Sales Representative (m/f/d) is responsible for the promotion and revenue growth of the full Sanger Sequencing as well as Real-time and digital PCR workflow (including Instruments & Consumables) in line with promotion of Thermo Fisher Scientific as the technology leader in Genetic Analysis Solutions. The applicant will work closely with the Account Managers, Inside Sales and Fisher Scientific sales force in their territory with the objective of growing profits and market share for the Thermo Fisher Life Science Solution Group (LSG).

Experience

Minimum MSc or equivalent experience in Life ScienceIdeally 2 years sales experience in the Life Sciences IndustryExcellent presentation and communication skills.Process oriented with demonstrated attention to details.Collaboration oriented with collaborative style.

Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesMust be flexible and willing to travel between 70- 80% in his/ her territory to complete his/ her duties.Requires understanding of commonly-used Sanger Sequencing Technologies, Real-Time and digital PCR methods.Solution Selling and Key Account Leadership skills.Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills.Proven written and verbal communicationClear vision of, and dedication to, providing outstanding customer experience.Dedication to contributions as a team member in a fast-paced, innovative, driven and very dynamic field.Must be self-directed and self-motivated to work at a highly technical level.Must be proficient in German and English, both verbal and written.Driving License
