Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Receiving Inspection lab is responsible for ensuring only conforming components are received into the facility. In addition, the lab owns the in-process inspection function for many of the facility's profile product lines. The tools utilized by lab personnel require technical skill and precise operation to verify incoming goods before moving to inventory for the kitting process. An Inspector in the Receiving Lab will need to display attention to detail, have a willingness to continuously learn, exhibit an excellent work ethic, and strive to share in positive team interactions every day.

 

Job Responsibilities

Follow all company policies, guidelines and procedures Utilize precision inspection equipment to qualify/verify product Understanding the importance of Good Documentation Practices, complete Quality records accurately and legibly and file them appropriately Be familiar with, and utilize, the organization's ERP system (i.e., SAP) Perform First Article Inspections Evaluate nonconforming material to provide input regarding condition Be familiar with first-article inspection requirements per AS9102 Perform data entry to support monitoring of quality/performance trends Perform documentation review and dimension verification on received materials Perform product inspections on the production floor Assist in programing inspection equipment as required Use verbal and written communication to exchange information required to complete essential duties and responsibilities Work with a cross-functional team to process inspection requests in a timely manner What your background should look like: H.S School degree or GED equivalent Competent with Microsoft Office applications Ability to read and interpret prints and customer requirements Proficient with standard dimensional gages-caliper, micrometer, drop Indicator, comparator Proficient with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Vision Systems, Digital Optical Comparator, and other advanced measurement test equipment Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control Proven effective contributor in a team environment Have a Quality mindset Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $37,800 – $46,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
