Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor - Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor which is a Band 4 Career Track Role with eviCore healthcare MSI, Inc.

Responsibilities:

Design and enhance DevOps tools and practices. Interact with various functional groups such as engineering, Quality Assurance, Client Services, and Product Owners to ensure efficient configuration management, build, release, and deployment of tools. Continuously improve processes, enhance security, and automate day-to-day DevOps activities, including intake, managing priorities, and deliverables. Work with Development, IT, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to support ongoing development efforts and new initiatives. Review and enhance existing security practices related to code management, access management, and release/deployment practices. Administer tools such as Gitlab or Git Actions, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Dynatrace or other monitoring tools. Create projects and automated builds in tools such as Gitlab, Git Actions, or Microsoft Azure DevOps. Troubleshoot and resolve Kubernetes deployment and configuration issues in various cloud environments. Maintain the health of resources in Azure cloud. Collaborate with Cloud Architects to design and build High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) and scalable infrastructure. Research new state-of-the-art tools and ideas for possible adoption to enhance DevOps. Design and enhance Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) frameworks. Design and maintain Terraform templates to provision resources and pipelines in Azure. Enhance CI/CD tools and processes to enable easy and rapid adoption of new projects and teams. Partner with cross-Enterprise DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD tools and processes and to standardize the processes when possible. Virtual/Work from home benefit (hybrid schedule) available.

Qualifications:

Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus three years of experience in software development or systems analysis or a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in software development or systems analysis. Must have experience with: Designing and implementing container-based API’s using Docker and Kubernetes; Partnering with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD tools and processes; Implementing High Availability between data centers; Disaster recovery planning and implementation; Design and implementation of CI/CD on Kubernetes / Azure cloud platforms using Git-Actions or Azure DevOps; Identifying and troubleshooting application performance issues using Dynatrace monitoring tool; Provisioning Cloud and AKS Infrastructure; Configuration management and application-deployment using Terraform or Ansible playbooks; Deploying applications to environments and providing production and application support for Java SpringBoot or TBICO applications and systems; Analyzing software requirements to determine feasibility of design; Converting project specifications and statements of problems to detailed logical flow charts for coding; Preparing design documents, interface specifications, installation, deployment, production support handoff, ad hoc support documents, etc.; Writing SQL and working with various databases, such as Oracle, Postgres, or MS SQL; Java/J2EE; XML; Windows; Linux or Unix; Azure cloud; CI/CD; Terraform; Ansible; Docker.
