Position Summary:
The Indirect Procurement function is part of Global Business Services Procure to Payment (P2P). This position is responsible for quickly and accurately resolving all assigned incoming cases, demonstrating knowledge of the end-to-end procurement process with a strong focus on customer service and user experience for creating and maintaining Indirect Purchase Orders in the Supply Connect system (Coupa).
This role will require analytical thinking and frequent use of discretion and judgment. Knowledge is typically acquired through an extended course of study in accounting, finance, or procurement, or through relevant work experience. The individual will apply professional knowledge to synthesize information and draw conclusions effectively. Additionally, this role provides support to the Team Lead on daily deliverables.
Main Responsibilities
Timely and accurately complete all Requisitions / Purchase Orders assigned according to identified SLAs.Find opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement around the Procure to Pay Process.Support internal and external audit requirements by ensuring complete and accurate operating procedures.Support Team Lead to a successful Knowledge Transfer by sharing standard methodologies and perform other related/ad hoc tasks/report as requestedBasic Requirements
Professional Technician or university high school student in Accounting, Finance or Business Shared Service Center experience is desirableMust have 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, procurement or customer serviceKnowledge MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - ExcelERPs experience with Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Mainframe is preferredExperience using Coupa software, Service Now and other financial tools are desirableCompetencies
