Bosch Electrical Drives India Pvt. Ltd. (RBDI), was formed in April 2008 with the sole objective of dealing electrical drives products from Robert Bosch GmbH, Germany and also from its affiliated and subsidiary companies in the rest of the world. RBDI is engaged in sales, manufacturing, development and application of wiper systems including wiper motors & arm & blades for both front & rear, HVAC blower motors & window lift motors.

Job Description

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.Conduct risk assessments such as HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the Karnataka Factory Rules , Environment Protection Act and allied rules , Karnataka Fire and emergency rules and SEBI BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting) framework.Lead incident investigations to identify root causes using techniques like fault tree analysis or 8D and implement corrective actions.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.

Environmental Management

Monitor environmental compliance by managing emissions, waste reduction strategies, and pollution control measures.Drive sustainability initiatives such as carbon footprint reduction, energy efficiency improvements, and waste minimization projects.Oversee environmental impact assessments for manufacturing processes.

Sustainability Leadership

Align company operations with corporate sustainability goals by implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks.Prepare reports on sustainability metrics for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies (e.g., SEBI BRSR requirements).

Regulatory Compliance

Serve as the liaison with local authorities to ensure adherence to all applicable HSE laws.Maintain accurate records of regulatory reporting requirements related to safety incidents, environmental compliance, and sustainability metrics.

Training & Development

Conduct training programs on workplace safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and sustainability practices.Identify training needs through Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for employees at all levels.

Continuous Improvement

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing innovative solutions to reduce risks and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems).Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies such as HIRA, HAZOP, and FMEA.Familiarity with SEBI BRSR requirements for sustainability reporting.

Experience

5–6 years of experience in HSE roles within the manufacturing industry.Demonstrated success in implementing HSE systems and driving sustainability initiatives.

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills in English and Kannada to effectively engage with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.Leadership capabilities to influence organizational culture towards safety excellence.Analytical mindset for problem-solving and decision-making.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Reduction in workplace incidents and near misses.Compliance rate with regulatory audits.Achievement of sustainability targets such as carbon footprint reduction or waste minimization.Timely submission of regulatory reports under Factories Act or SEBI BRSR requirements.Employee participation rates in safety training programs.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical / Environmental Engineering.Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from CLI/RLI/ State approved Institute
