Immigrant Youth Program Coordinator

Job Overview: The Program Coordinator oversees the provision of direct services to clients engaged in IRC Miami’s Immigrant Children’s Legal and Service Partnership (ICLASP) program. The Program Coordinator provides technical assistance and leadership to an established casework team in Miami and subcontractors. Additionally, the Program Coordinator is responsible for cultivating, developing, and maintaining community partnerships and other community resources under the ICLASP umbrella. The Program Coordinator reports to the Deputy Director of IRC Florida Safety & Protection Program Manager of IRC Florida.
Major Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Ensure client success with a strong emphasis on empowerment through high-quality service that supports clients to thrive in their community• Work closely with staff to promote strong relationships across programs while fully implementing a client-centered service methodology across all service areas• Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the regulations, reauthorizations, and related policies concerning ICLASP • Represent IRC and ICLASP at community meetings and other external settings• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with various agencies and with their assistance develop safety plans/protocols for clients, staff, and the office as it relates to the ICLASP program• Ensure program activities are implemented consistently with donor requirements and provide technical support, oversight, and leadership to the case management team• Develop and maintain strategic community partnerships with other service providers, government agencies, and other key stakeholders, including all members of ICLASP• Work with the Finance Manager and program staff to monitor and manage all program budgets and oversee that program outcomes meet proposed goals• Provide wrap-around case management services to immigrant children as needed• Coordinate services to ensure that the children and their families are living in a safe environment and integrating well into their new community• Responsible for connecting them to appropriate services and resources• Provide high-level leadership to assigned teams including:o Weekly one on one meetings with all direct reports and regular team meetings with all memberso Effective delegation of duties and responsibilitieso Consistent and ongoing feedback and communication o Extensive professional development support and coaching of team members• Oversee internal and subcontractor’s grant tracking and billing and coordinating narrative reporting• Ensure that programs comply with all contractual, reporting, and match requirements• Ensure quality data collection across all programs; oversee the production of reports and impact data to provide insight to internal and external stakeholders • Ensure donor-mandated match requirements are accurately tracked and achieved• Represent assigned programs with IRC HQ. Ensure compliance with HQ initiatives and guidance• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, international affairs, or human services; graduate degree preferred.
Work Experience:• Relevant professional experience in providing direct services related to unaccompanied children or immigrant youth populations required; minimum of 5 years’ experience strongly preferred.• Experience in the provision of immigration legal services preferred.

Working Environment: • A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.• Occasional domestic (non-local) travel required.• May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Compensation:Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
