For our **Structural Heart Division** , we are recruiting a **Structural Heart Imaging Trainer & Screening Analyst, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) - EMEA** . This role is based in Diegem, Belgium and it requires a certain amount of traveling within the region.
This role involves performing analysis of Computed Tomography (CT) studies and other imaging modalities to assist in achieving the best possible patient outcomes with the Navitor Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) device through thorough pre-case planning. The Imaging Specialist will create physician-facing reports for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) valve sizing and case planning using the 3Mensio software. Additionally, the Imaging Specialist will collaborate with the training team to develop content for field and customer training. This position requires close collaboration with the field organization, healthcare professionals, and consultation with marketing, quality, research and development, and other structural heart business franchises.
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze Computed Tomographies for moderately complex cases and provide timely reviews to assist in pre-case planning and determine suitability for Navitor implantation.
+ Analyze Computed Tomographies and provide timely reviews for various clinical projects.
+ Assess when to consult with physician proctors based on case complexity.
+ Train stakeholders (field team and/or healthcare professionals) on Computed Tomography imaging acquisition and interpretation.
+ Develop training content relevant to imaging procedures and image analysis for stakeholders.
+ Identify gaps and provide recommendations on Computed Tomography acquisition process improvements.
+ Participate in professional education conventions, proctor and investigator meetings, full team trainings, and on-site imaging training at hospitals.
+ Participate in regional and local field meetings and internal training.
+ Answer queries and troubleshoot technical issues.
+ Mentor and train field clinical team members to increase team productivity and achieve goals.
+ Collaborate with the Global Imaging team.
+ Perform additional tasks as requested in the field of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation training.
**Your Profile:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a science or technology field with 5 years of imaging experience OR Associate degree or certification in imaging modality (e.g., American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and 7 years of imaging experience.
+ 5-10 years of related clinical and/or medical industry work experience with in-depth knowledge of structural heart, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and/or critical care medicine.
+ Strong working knowledge in heart valve replacement and repair, transcatheter structural heart technologies, echocardiography, cardiovascular hemodynamics, and heart failure medicine.
+ Significant experience working in a clinical setting.
+ Significant experience utilizing image viewing and processing software (e.g., 3Mensio, OsiriX, Vitrea, Circle) for Computed Tomography and/or Echo Analysis.
+ Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently by considering multiple points of view.
+ Ability to properly demonstrate and educate on how to use Computed Tomography software and image transfer.
+ Solid knowledge of relevant imaging equipment operation (Computed Tomography scanner and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation protocols).
+ Understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy and TAVI (TAVR) procedure access options.
+ Comprehensive understanding of risk indications and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation society guideline recommendations.
+ Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
+ Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
+ Demonstrated skill and tactfulness in working as a cross-functional team member.
+ Well-organized and self-motivated with an ability to initiate and follow through on assignments.
