JOB PURPOSE:
As Trade Marketing Lead, your purpose is to become the expert in traditional and digital trade marketing. You will be responsible for the development and execution of joint marketing plans for a number of our major trade partners. You will be pivotal in building our brands presence through these customers, working with the brand managers, sales managers, and customers to deliver ‘best in class’ activations, experiences and communications which really add value to our brands, the business owner, the wholesaler and of course the consumer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and manage the trade marketing calendar. Effectively communicate our promotions, core brands, NPD and campaigns throughout the year via traditional channels such as wholesaler shows and events, brochures and print and via digital channels using the Digital Trade Consultancy Programme. (explained below)
Continuously monitor the performance and optimise for better results whilst keeping a pulse on what other companies are doing in this space.
Build a strong relationship with the CBD team to ensure our plans are aligned
Support in customer pitches and selling presentations to gain new business or develop and deploy activations to grow existing businesses and ensure continued loyalty
Manage the artwork process with external agency to ensure campaigns are landed OTIF and explore opportunities to use AI when developing the artwork that result in efficiencies
Lead the Digital Trade Consultancy Programme (DTCP): Working with key wholesaler partners to build and improve their B2B DCOM including perfect store online, digital marketing and data sharing.
Management of a Trade Marketing Executive developing them both professional and personally.

SKILLS & LEADERSHIP:
Ability to work both independently and as a team member, and an ability to form long lasting working relationships with a variety of people across all business functions
Strong stakeholder management skills, with a passion for working with people, bringing them together to problem solve in a creative and considered way
Good communication and project management skills.
Creativity, strategic thinking, and a desire to think outside the box.
A bias for action and simplicity in processes and interactions.
Strong organisational skills and an ability to meet timelines in a disciplined manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience with working with customers
Experience in Food Service or FMCG desirable but not essential
Good commercial acumen and budgetary skills
Excellent communicator
