The Role

Palladium are seeking a Human Resource (HR) Coordinator to join one of our international scholarship programs. As an integral part of an Operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the HR service delivery across the Program. Reporting directly to the Deputy Team Leader, Operations, you will be responsible for:

HR generalist support to the Program by providing quality and trusted advice to staff on policy interpretation and employee relations matters and general HR queries. HR administration such as responding to HR queries across the team, maintaining HR records and systems.Supporting and coordinating HR activities and initiatives including performance review, reporting, and wellness, learning and development initiatives.Ensuring program compliance as required by Australian legislation, DFAT requirements and Palladium, as well as demonstrating HR best practice. End-to-end recruitment and selection coordination for program positions, as well as contracting and onboarding tasks.In addition, this role will undertake general administration tasks to support the office management of the Program.

 

You will work as part of a highly experienced and passionate program team, with the opportunity to develop and showcase your expertise across the full HR function. This role will work closely with Palladiums APAC Corporate HR team who will guide and mentor you for success.

 

Palladium offers a competitive salary for a long term fixed term contract up to 30 June 2029. We offer flexible work options to support wellbeing and success. This position will be Canberra based.

 

About you

With experience as a HR professional in a diverse and fast paced environment, you will bring:   

Tertiary level qualifications in Human Resource Management or similar; with experience in international development or a service delivery industry desirable but not essential.Experience in full-cycle recruiting, including candidate management, interview logistics and coordination, drafting ad text and interview questions, panel support and onboarding.Ability to engage and consult with managers and team members to understand their needs and priorities to develop solutions.Project coordination and administration skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Cultural maturity and excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.A working understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practice, and a proven capability to provide trusted and accurate advice to mangers and staff on HR related matters.
