IRC Hellas participates as a partner in the project “Helios+: Integrated Actions for the Integration of Third-Country Citizens into the Labor Market” in the Region of Attica with Project No. 271764/05.11.2024, Call Code: 01 Helios+ and Call Name Number of OPS Information System: 12914, funded by the Ministry of Migration and Asylum (General Secretariat for Migration Policy – Special Service for the Coordination and Management of Migration and Home Affairs Programs – E.Y.SY.D. – M.E.Y.).
The 30-month project aims to support the integration of third-country citizens, Beneficiaries of International Protection, and Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection in Greece, through a holistic approach that enhances their access to education, the labor market, and vocational training. The project includes actions such as facilitating access to the labor market through career counseling, supporting independent living through Greek language learning, assisting beneficiaries during the integration process, promoting interaction with local communities, and ensuring autonomous access to social and public services. It will also offer housing support and raise awareness in host communities about the social and labor integration of beneficiaries.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Helios+ Center Assistant, working in the center for the Attica Region (based in Athens), will be responsible for the reception and registration of beneficiaries, providing first-level information, and directing beneficiaries to the specialized services of the center. They will also handle administrative tasks such as preparing the necessary documents for registration, monitoring the security of the center, and ensuring the smooth operation of the center’s spaces and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
University Education or Technical Education in Administration, Social Sciences, Communication, or other related fields. At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the humanitarian field. Excellent knowledge of Arabic, French, or Farsi/Dari (spoken and written). Very good knowledge of English (C1). Strong computer skills, especially in word processing, Excel, and internet services. Excellent interpersonal, team, and communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize workload using initiative. Ability to work under pressure.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Good knowledge of Greek. Experience in community engagement activities and initiatives. Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem-solving skills. Awareness of cultural differences and flexibility in working with diverse groups.WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The position is undertaken and fulfilled by IRC and is exclusively funded by third bodies with predetermined duration to materialize a specific program.
