This opportunity as the Head of Phase Out Management in the Line Manager Supply position offers a strategic leadership role within the Global Phase Out Management (POM) team.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies related to product life cycle management, ensuring customer value and satisfaction through an efficient supply chain. This involves managing products from the perspectives of cost, capability, and resilience. The role requires close collaboration with diverse internal teams to manage product substitutions, safety driving, phase outs, and excess management.
You'll work with stakeholders in market areas and product areas to drive value creation. You'll have opportunities for continuous improvement by focusing on collaborations, automations, and simplifications. The goal is to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the supply chain.

The Global Phase Out Management (POM) is part of Inbound Supply team within Group Supply organization in BNEW. This position will be based at ENC in Nanjing, China and report to the Head of NPI in Inbound Supply.
What you will do:
一 Establish data driven strategy to manage excess and avoid costs throughout the product life cycle. This involves creating a governance structure to ensure collaboration between market areas and product areas.
一 Develop and implement a framework with a cross-functional team to manage global product substitutions and phase-outs. The goal is to minimize disruptions to customers and reduce costs associated with these changes.
一 Contribute to simplifying the product portfolio by phasing out products in a timely manner. This includes executing fast PD5 processes and planning for scrap provisioning during phase-out projects.
一 Present and participate in forums and boards focused on life cycle planning and product substitutions. This involves controlling safety measures, managing substitutions, and executing follow-ups.
一 Enhance efficiency by leveraging digitalization and automation in work tasks. Realize portfolio management to control risks and costs, collaborating with stakeholders.
一 Be accountable for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), performance indicators (PIs), and objectives and key results (OKRs) related to continuous improvements. Balance delivery capability and excess risk through differentiated supply chain management.
一 Contribute to the overall inbound strategy focusing on excess and obsolete management. Drive innovation through collaborative value creation.
一 This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive collaboration across different functions. You will need to be adept at navigating complex supply chain challenges while ensuring alignment with corporate values and promoting a culture of excellence.
