About this opportunity:
We are looking for an inspiring leader to join our team as Key Account Manager, Head of KT Account Div., to develop Ericsson Korea Partner’s business relationship with Korea Telecom (KT), while actively contributing to customer success. The successful candidate requires a deep understanding of our customers’ business, operations and objectives. This role carries full responsibility of the account Profit & Loss including working capital.
What you will do:
• Develop and execute the Key Account Strategy for the customer
• Drive profitable sales through short-term and long-term proactive business development
• Drive executive relationship building between the customer and Ericsson
• Ensure quality & profitability for on-going delivery of accounts
• Lead and develop a stellar sales team
• Partner closely with Ericsson Product and Business Areas; leverage deep connections to influence inside Ericsson to deliver on commitments to the customer
The skills you bring:
• 10+ years of sales account management and customer experience with a track record of consistently delivering superior business results in the telecommunications industry.
• 5+ years leadership experience. Exhibit courageous leadership by delivering results in ambiguous situations and displaying a willingness to take calculated risks.
• Proven track record with Korean national customers and exhibit cultural adaptability within an international company.
• Demonstrate a “set to win” sales mindset focused on achieving success and possess advanced sales skills.
• Strategic thinker with superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Innovative, solutions-oriented and with the ability to balance short- and long-term priorities.
• Strong mental agility and resilience, with the ability to perform under pressure and manage complex, fast-paced business environments effectively.
• Possess influential leadership qualities and the ability to unify teams. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to interact with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Extended knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry and of Ericsson business strategy, financial knowledge – and ability to turn that knowledge into effective and efficient targets and strategies within your areas of responsibility.
• Very strong personal integrity and values that supports a high ethical standard. Capable of addressing inappropriate behavior and resolving issues with mutually beneficial solutions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills both in Korean and English
• University degree in telecom/engineering and/or business administration or equivalent training/experience.
