Lead the Spices sales team and ensure achievement of sales-related KPIs for the business. Monitor and ensure sales execution, improve margin profile, manage working capital and credit, and drive cross-functional coordination as needed.
Manage relationships with Key Accounts to ensure year-over-year share of wallet growth and identify opportunities for strategic initiatives that deepen relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
Guide, mentor, and provide strategic direction to the sales team. Create opportunities for team development through exposure and learning aligned with market and job requirements. Drive adoption of digital tools to monitor customer engagement, enhance processes, and improve customer relationship management. Shift the focus from product sales to solution sales and develop a future-ready solutions-oriented sales team.
Develop business cases for strategic growth initiatives, including new products and value-added offerings that increase revenue, improve margins, and deepen customer engagement while strengthening market presence.
Commercialize spice blends, scan markets for new product concepts and Private Label opportunities, and lead commercialization by driving the end-to-end value chain — procurement, processing, QA/NPD, and sales — in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate with various functions to ensure smooth planning and execution. Ensure timely product delivery to customers with zero avoidable non-conformance.
Analyze customer, competitor, and market data to perform market segmentation by product, geography, and customer type. Identify key segments and design strategies tailored to their specific needs, overseeing execution in partnership with other functions.
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to achieve business objectives with a proactive problem-solving approach.
