DescriptionThe Head bartender oversees the outlet's bar operations and other bartenders' work to ensure that they provide positive customer experience. He/she ensures the smooth running of the bar. He/she should also be skilled in serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar patrons. He/she may serve beer and wine, make classic drinks or create new recipes for cocktails. 

Key Responsibilities\nManage day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling. \nProvide leadership and guidance to the bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management. \nCreate a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for guests, delivering exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or complaints. \nDevelop and update cocktail menus in collaboration with management, taking into account current trends, customer preferences, and seasonal ingredients.  \nTrain and educate the bar team on cocktail preparation techniques, product knowledge, and responsible alcohol service. \nEnsure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcoholic beverages and adherence to sanitation standards. \nMaintain a clean and organized bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils. \nMonitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to minimize wastage and optimize profitability. \nKeep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and techniques, and share knowledge with the team. \nCollaborate with the management team to plan and execute special events, promotions, and beverage-related initiatives. \nHandle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. \n

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nTo fill the position, the following is required:\nPrevious experienced in similar job role or 5-10 years Mixology experience.\nEnglish – good oral and written skills.\nStrong knowledge of beverages (cocktails, liquors, wine, etc…).\nAbility to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.\nAbility to identify and delegate tasks effectively.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nApplies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times.\nWorks in a safe, prudent and organized manner.\n
