Home Care Indonesia team is looking for a Asst. Packaging Development Manager for Home & Hygiene support growth agenda of Home & Hygiene category in Unilever Indonesia, through On Time and In Full (OTIF) delivery of packaging of the developed products that are manufactured in Unilever Indonesia Sourcing Unit.
The HC Packaging team focuses on the development of packaging solutions across the category's entire portfolio. Packaging plays a critical role in delivering new products to consumers and customers. As such, it is essential for new product development projects and business optimization efforts aimed at improving gross margins and supporting a superior product agenda. Complemented with dynamic challenges in the category, local players, and the fact that Indonesia is the 5th biggest market for Home Care Unilever – this is a high visibility role within Unilever and offers plenty of scope for leadership skill development, packaging excellence and project management.

Main Responsibilities
Ensure technical delivery of quality packaging of Home & Hygiene Products as per project brief
Define specification of packaging components
Ensure the packaging components fits for purpose, meet consumer & customer requirement, also legal and environmental aspects
Ensure compatibility of packaging with the product formulation and production line
Ensure packaging development process of multi projects meet the projects timeline
Generate ideas & deliver implementation of VIP program on packaging
Ensure quality delivery of packaging sustainability projects as per USLP program
Ensure packaging materials from alternative suppliers and/or for alternative sourcing site fits for purpose
Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
Project management for multiple projects in R&D or Supply Chain
Minimum 3 years experienced in packaging development area, liquid flexible and rigid packaging in particular.
