Whether modifying aircraft to help protect our service members overseas, performing geographical mapping for scientific research, or working to suppresslarge wildfires on the West Coast, we serve with integrity and excellence. ***Must meet all flight hour requirements below to be considered for the role *** Job Purpose: The Gulfstream G-IV Captain role exists to operate as pilot in command (PIC) or second in command (SIC) and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of all persons on board. **Duties:** Be available and prepared to fly on a flexible schedule, determined by customer need Be able to be away from home for at least one month at a time Maintain landing and instrument currency Possess and maintain a valid passport Comply with all NASA requirements as stated in the contract such as minimum hours, pilot currency, etc. Comply with company policies regarding such activities as travel, company credit card, documentation, professional presentation, and communication Be a good steward of and maintain custodial responsibility for government/customer-issued equipment Help complete all necessary aircraft maintenance and aircraft maintenance paperwork Assist in aircraft/engine washing, equipment maintenance, and other general ground support duties Help coordinate inventory of equipment and spares for active NASA missions Coordinate ground support services at designated facilities and locations May be required to assist other business segments with flight/pilot services Coordinate domestic and international airspace in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company guidance Other duties as assigned **Skills/Qualifications:** Possess a Gulfstream G-IV type rating Possess Commercial / Multi / Instrument ratings and a Second-Class Medical **Flight hour requirements:** 1500 total time 1000 PIC 750 multi-engine 500 PIC multi-engine 250 PIC in type Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills Be flexible and willing to adapt to a dynamic schedule to meet customer demands Be able to rotate into other Dynamic Aviation segments Be adept at operating in a two-pilot crew environment Successfully passing a drug test and criminal background check; the client may exclude individuals from consideration who have been convicted of certain criminal offenses, including, but not limited to, driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) FAA A&P license preferred It is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
