Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Strategy & Leadership
• Define and implement group-wide quality policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency across all plants.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality enhancement and defect reduction.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
2. Process & Product Quality Management
• Ensure adherence to metallurgical standards, heat treatment processes, and machining quality across all plants.
• Oversee Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC) and Gravity Die Casting (GDC) processes to maintain top-notch product integrity.
• Monitor process validation, FMEA, SPC, and control plans to maintain product consistency
. 3. Customer Quality & Compliance
• Act as the primary quality interface with key OEM customers (Toyota, Honda, Maruti, Tata, Hyundai, etc.).
• Handle customer audits, quality escalations, and warranty claims with a proactive approach. •
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other automotive quality standards.
4. Quality Management System (QMS) & Data-Driven Decision Making
• Strengthen and maintain QMS frameworks to drive operational excellence.
Utilize data analytics, root cause analysis (RCA), and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality metrics.
• Lead plant-wide PPAP, APQP, and supplier quality initiatives.
5. Team Leadership & Training
•Develop and mentor quality teams across multiple locations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous learning within the organization.
• Conduct training programs on quality tools, customer expectations, and technical advancements.
