**JOB DESCRIPTION**
A Supply Management Trainee plays a vital role in learning and contributing to the supply chain and procurement functions of an organization. They typically work under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience. Here are the typical roles and responsibilities:
+ Logistics Coordination: Learning to plan and coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods while keeping costs and timelines in check.
+ Inventory Management: Helping track, review, and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, reconciliation, and reduce waste or shortages. Including to the correctness of inventory reporting.
+ Data Analysis: Analyzing Supply Chain data to identify areas for cost savings, efficiency improvements, or process optimization.
+ Procurement Assistance: Supporting the procurement team (PTP) in sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services for product finishing and Supply Chain operation requirement.
+ Vendor Management: Assisting in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, evaluating their performance, and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods.
+ Reporting: Create/develop the report for more visibility of Supply Chain Operation as per assigned
+ Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring compliance with company policies, regulations, and standards while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
+ Learning and Development: Actively participating in training programs and gaining knowledge of supply chain processes, tools, and technologies.
+ Problem-Solving: Assisting in resolving supply chain issues, such as delays, quality concerns, or inventory discrepancies.
+ Project Management: Supporting and manage the project as per assigned. Such as pallet monitoring and utilization project, Inventory Health monitoring and improvement project, etc.
The role is designed to groom future supply chain professionals by providing practical exposure and a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
