What You'll Do

As a Director in the ERM team, you’ll lead global initiatives to assess and manage strategic and emerging risks. You’ll work directly with senior leaders across the firm to inform decision-making, evolve BCG’s risk capabilities and strengthen data-driven scenario planning. This is a high-impact role that combines strategic thinking, data-driven analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities include

Leading enterprise-wide strategic risk assessments and scenario planningIdentifying and evaluating emerging and long-term risksEnhancing BCG’s strategic risk management framework and toolsAdvising senior leaders on risk exposure, implications, and mitigationPartnering with business and functional leaders to deliver tailored risk reviewsMonitoring the implementation of mitigation strategies aligned with business goalsPresenting findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable mannerMentoring and supporting junior team members

What You'll Bring

10–15+ years of experience in enterprise risk, or related fields, preferably in global, matrixed organizationsStrong knowledge of ERM frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000) and risk principlesDemonstrated ability to lead strategic risk assessments and scenario analysisProficiency in data analysis and experience with GRC or risk analytics tools preferredGraduate degree in Risk, Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experienceProfessional certifications (e.g., CRMA, CIA, CPA) are a plusExperience in professional services or partner-led environments is beneficialWillingness to travel internationally as needed

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team plays a critical role in enabling responsible entrepreneurship at BCG. We work closely with senior leaders to identify, assess, and manage the firm’s most significant risks through a forward-looking and integrated risk management approach.
