What You'll Do
As a Senior Analyst in the Global Revenue and Commercial Support team, you will play an important role in supporting revenue management initiatives, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and driving operational excellence. This role involves collaborating with a global team member, supporting projects, and delivering financial insights that align with the firm’s goals. You will contribute to the optimization of processes, act as a key liaison between teams, and help strengthen the firm's financial capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Support revenue-related strategic projects and initiativesCollaborate with senior team members to address revenue and accounting practices.Review global revenue transaction activity, ensuring queries from local offices are addressed with accuracy and timeliness.Contribute to producing global revenue reports, perform analyses, escalate exceptions, and ensure effective resolution.Prepare process documentation and develop an end-to-end understanding of the client engagement lifecycle.Perform and design reconciliations across systems and for financial statements to provide assurance around the accuracy of global revenue reporting.Build a strong understanding of the firm’s commercial practices, including non-core business units, to interpret weekly revenue activity, investigate transactions, and summarize key insights.Provide operational support, accounting guidance, and training on revenue-related topics to the global finance community.Communicate financial information clearly and concisely, tailoring messages to different audiences. Prepare and design regular reports for senior leadership to aid in decision-making.Develop and maintain professional relationships with local finance teams and across functionsManage stakeholder expectations effectively and address a large volume of requests and inquiries, prioritizing work with support and driving tasks forward.Participate in various revenue-related ad hoc projects and reporting, contributing to continuous process improvements and innovation.You're Good At:
Identifying and escalating issues with a risk-based lens and making informed recommendations.Understanding the project lifecycle and financial systems to support process improvements.Communicating financial topics to stakeholders across varying levels of expertise.Applying knowledge of US GAAP revenue recognition to maintain compliance and improve practices.Leveraging existing tools and helping to design new, scalable reports to analyze and share financial data.Exercising judgment, anticipating potential questions, and helping to design solutions.Building and maintaining relationships across teams to stay connected to the business.Managing and prioritizing workloads, escalating as required, and ensuring timely and high-quality outputs.What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles, with a focus on revenue management or financial reporting; CPA or equivalent designation in process is preferred.A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong analytic skills with proficiency in financial and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAP Business Objects, SAP S/4HANA, and PowerPoint.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.Who You'll Work With
This position is a key role within the Global Revenue and Commercial Support team, a part of the larger Global Accounting and Control (GAC) function under the direction of the Global Revenue Senior Director. The GAC team is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of BCG’s global financial information, establishing accounting policies and controls, and providing decision support to local offices worldwide. You will work with stakeholders at various levels to drive alignment and ensure effective revenue management practices.
