The Global Product Manager for Leica Biosystems is responsible for growth, management and reporting related to assigned product lines within the staining reagents portfolio, and for the development and launch of New Product Development (NPD) initiatives within Advanced Staining Reagents. This position is part of the Advanced Staining Reagents Product Management Team located in Newcastle and will be a fully on-site based role . You will be a part of the Product Management Team and report to the Director, Product Management ASR responsible for the development, launch and on market life cycle management of the Leica Biosystem’s Advanced Assays and Reagents portfolio. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Participate in core team as GPM lead for development and launch of NPD initiatives in accordance with APD and Design Control processes. + Execute product lifecycle management tasks on portfolio including product maintenance, revitalisation, and rationalisation to maintain healthy portfolio. + Drive key change management activities to support market expansion initiatives. + Monitor and manage the health of the product throughout its lifecycle. This includes tracking product performance, customer feedback, EQA data and market trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements or improvements through PMPF. The essential requirements of the job include: + A proven background in Medical Diagnostics Product Management, Regulatory Affairs, Technical and / or Marketing. + Experience in Biomedical industry, Medical Device or Cancer Diagnostics industry preferred, especially within Anatomic Pathology. + Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in business and/or science (Medical Science/Biology). Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + Ability to travel ~ 10% internationally.
